How does 0% platform fee work?
We don't take any percentage of your donation. The only fees are Stripe's payment processing fees (2.9% + $0.30), which you can optionally choose to cover. We sustain our operations through optional donor tips.
Are my donations tax-deductible?
Yes! All charities on UmmahCauses are verified 501(c)(3) organizations. You'll receive an email receipt for tax purposes immediately after donating.
What is cause-based giving?
When you donate to a cause (like "Palestine" or "Education"), your donation is distributed equally to all verified charities working on that cause. It's a way to support multiple organizations with a single donation.
Can I get a refund?
Donations are generally non-refundable. However, if there was an error or fraudulent activity, please contact us within 30 days at support@ummahcauses.org and we'll review your case.
How do I cancel a recurring donation?
Log in to your account and go to your Dashboard. Under "Recurring Donations," you'll see all your active subscriptions with a cancel button. You can cancel at any time.
What payment methods do you accept?
We accept all major credit and debit cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover), Apple Pay, Google Pay, and bank transfers through Stripe.
